How to fish for black buffalo

Black buffalo are the least common of the three buffalo species, a large native sucker of warm, often deeper and faster river channels and lakes, superficially similar to the smallmouth buffalo and likewise a bottom-feeder rooting invertebrates off the bottom. They can grow large and are taken mainly by bowfishers and occasionally on bottom baits. Like other buffalo they tolerate warm, turbid water. On a location page, black buffalo are an uncommon large native rough fish of warmer, larger waters rather than a conventional angling target.
